Unburned Bridge For Wisdom To Walk On
From "Love's Footsteps"
by LuCxeed
I search for Love’s footsteps,
as many do,
scattered along the pageless B.C.,
between the lines of modern times,
into future history dotted on silicon chips,
stretching in an infinite space.

Unburned Bridge For Wisdom To Walk On
From "Cry of an Unborn Son
beside a Flag-Draped Coffin"
by LuCxeed
(inspired by a true story)
Inside, withered, is blood of life.
Outside, like a river, flow tears of grief,
From the cry of an unborn child for his father,
From the cry of an eight-month pregnant
Woman for her unwed husband.
Coffin’s almost failed to bear... but wept,
Hiding beneath the draped flag, also wet.
*To save a soldier’s life is to save a father for his child, spare a widow’s cry, give back a family’s future light.

Unburned Bridge For Wisdom To Walk On
From "He Fell"
by LuCxeed
(inspired by a true story)
To snatch life out of the steel teeth of Death, he fell.
Have you, Heaven’s Grace, heard him?
Jason Dunham, a handsome heart above Hell,
- I want to make sure everyone, alive,
makes it home.
"Son, home is calling you, Jason Dunham."
"Young man, motherland needs you home."
To snatch life out of the steel teeth of Death, he fell,
down into the bosom of somber deserts.
Mourning mountains toll the bell.
*A simple truth, "to make sure everyone, alive, makes it home" (as a soldier shouted out),
has been debated by many on and on...

Unburned Bridge For Wisdom To Walk On
From "A Little Sad Shadow"
by LuCxeed
(inspired by a true story)
Giant White
Mirrors moonlight,
Encircled by Frontier of Blue.
Air is crystal. Sound sealed by icy glue.
Little spots, round and shallow,
Scatter over the snow.
Footprints loyally follow
The soulful, tiny shadow.

Unburned Bridge For Wisdom To Walk On
From "Half Soul’s Hope"
by LuCxeed
I wonder
were we separated
were we created
into two
Where are you
my other half
with my other half soul

Unburned Bridge For Wisdom To Walk On
From "Off the Train of Morrow "
by LuCxeed
Is Past a past
or a ghost?
Mind of Time, haunted,
disturbed, confused,
cannot think, nor rest...
